According to World Health Organization (WHO) hearing loss is on the rise today, approximate 422 million worldwide have a certain degree of hearing loss.
WHO projection is that unless something is done by 2030 there will be nearly 630 million people with impaired hearing; by 2050, the number could rise to over 900 million.
